Right, I really neverviewed myself making a topic like this but I saw something this morning thatburned by bacon something fierce. I for quite some time now have been lookingforward to "The Art of Diplomacy" game that was going to be startedup. I got on this morning to discover that is has been postponed.
The reasons for this I dounderstand, there are often far too many games open and we cannot get enoughpeople together to get a really good game going. I am just not very sure if itwas completely fair for The Art of Diplomacy to close. I would have thoughtthat Nova's game the "World in Conflict" would have been a much moresuitable choice to close as it was formed last and is based on a very similarconcept to games done before. Yes I know he has made it a little different butin essence it is a Cold War roleplay which has been done many many times.
A medieval roleplayhowever has been done very rarely, there have been many attempts but none everget off the ground. The art of Diplomacy had a dang good chance; people weregetting very excited for it, making banners for their signatures and what notwhich I have never seen before for a roleplay.
So I just would like toknow from Heinrich or someone more informed why they chose to close the art ofdiplomacy.
