Historical Alliance

I fear my allies where new players that have gone inactive before the game even began, so if i am declared upon by the enemy alliance will my AI allies come to my assistance, or is it just me vs four enemies now? Its elite AI, and scenario teams.

Basicaly is there an auto declare being in a set team game or would the allies still have to manually declare war.
