In the manual there is no info whatsoever on the bomber planes, or on the new revised fighter plane.
Painstakingly searching the forum makes you none the wiser, rather more confused.
Many are disappointed the new bombers aren't as "awesome" as they had hoped, some think they are best suited for taking down stray infantry and sea units.
There have always been the complain about airplanes that they "drop down like flies" when big-stack infantry fires back.
Others wonder "Is it impossible to take down an airplane?"
Some say airplanes are useless, some say they imbalance the game by being too strong (and unrealistic as WWI unit)
Well, the experience I am currently taking is that I have two enemy bombers who attack my pretty good infantry stacks (strength around 80).
The planes do their little damage, nothing "awesome", but still some on every round, and the planes are absolutely unscathed every time.
OK, I get a fighter patrolling the area, and when the bombers enter the patrol area, nothing happens, both bomber and fighter absolutely untouched.
Come on, people...
Where is the truth about the airplanes among all the diverging voices?
(And how difficult can it be to at least put them in the manual with some correct info?)
